Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) uses ZIP Codes to distribute its workload among its 19 regional field offices. Most of the field names in this dataset are self explanatory, save COLOR_EGIS, which is internally used for standardizing map symbology. The lat and lon location fields correspond to the geographic center of the ZIP CODE. For more information, please visit dcfs.lacounty.gov.
