The First Responder Training Program (E4) trains first responders, such as law enforcement, fire departments, and paramedics, throughout Los Angeles County, in best practices for engaging with people experiencing homelessness and working collaboratively with homeless service providers.
The Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System for Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services (E2) increases access to federally funded substance use disorder services for people experiencing homelessness.
The Permanent Supportive Housing Program (D7) provides individuals and families experiencing long-term homelessness with supportive housing by funding high quality tenant services and, when needed, local rental subsidies.
Countywide Benefits Entitlement Services Teams (C4, C5, and C6) assist eligible homeless individuals with their applications for federal benefits, such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Veterans Benefits, with an ultimate goal of increasing their income.
The Interim/Bridge Housing Program for Those Exiting Institutions (B7) increases the stock of temporary housing for people being discharged from institutions such as jails, mental health facilities, or foster care, with an ultimate goal of securing permanent housing for participants.
